It is hi-tech product which has been developed after 8 years of extensive research & field tests. The first of its kind of coating system developed in India (CECRI) for the prevention of corrosion on rebars. CPCC coating system consists of a primer & a sealing agent. The process involves cleaning of the steel reinforcement rods and application of one coat of Setting Primer and after curing for 30 minutes application of Sealing Coat.
The coated rods can be handled after 6 hours of application. This process cares about flexibility, bond strength, shelf life of coated bars, etc. CPCC can be done easily at project site itself. The coating has excellent corrosion resistance and highly recommended for corrosion protection of steel reinforcement bars in Aggressive corrosive environments.

It is a colourless solution containing corrosion inhibitor and Alkaline Compound with pH around 12. It is mixed with OPC Cement / Portland Pozzolana Cement (PPC) to form Cement Slurry and is applied in one coat on steel surface to protect it from the attack of Sulphate and Chloride ions to keep the steel surface in high pH atmosphere.
In saline atmosphere most important thing is to prevent attack of Sulphate and Chloride ions on metal surface. With addition of the proper corrosion inhibitor the attack of Sulphate and Chloride ions can be prevented on metal surface.
